Product Description

SNY-294B is an aminoalkyl modified silicone fluid. It is specially designed for formulating textile softener emulsions.

Application
SNY-294B is a basic material for amino silicone emulsions or microemulsions. The emulsions made from SNY-294B are widely used as softner for woven, knitted and non-woven fabrics of cellulose and man-made fibers.

How to use
Typical microemulsion formula:
• SNY-294B: 20%
• Glacial acetic: 0.22%
• Sodium acetate: 0.2%
• 1,2-Propanediol: 1%
• Surfactant C₁₃[EO]₆: 10%
• Deionized water: 68.58%
Process: Add water, glacial acetic acid, sodium acetate and emulsifier to the container and stir evenly.
• Slowly add SNY-294B and stir continuously
• Add 1,2-propylene glycol and continue stirring
• Filter the emulsion to remove impurities or undissolved gel particles

Notes: Dilute with water to a silicon content of less than 5% and then adjust pH of the dilution to 4-6 before use.

Package
200L Drums or 1000L IBC totes.
Net weight 200KG per drum and 1000KG per IBC.

Storage
• Sealed storage in original containers at a temperature 5-30ºC.
• Shelf Life: 12 months.
• Storage beyond shelf life doesn't mean the product is no longer usable, but a trial test is necessary for quality assurance.
